About the funder

The Youth Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe is a non-profit foundation established in September 1985. It supports children and young people throughout the entire business area of Sparkasse Karlsruhe in social, cultural, and sporting fields. Its key projects include student athletics and swimming championships, competitions in choir and writing, creative and music workshops, as well as scientific experiments. Each year, tens of thousands of participants from kindergarten through to high school graduation take part in the diverse offerings.

Mission & Vision

The Youth Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe aims to provide young people in the service area with sustainable experiences and personal achievements through a broad, holistic support program. It combines knowledge transfer and skills development with enjoyment, community, and diversity in projects ranging from sports and culture to educational offerings.

Target groups

The target group comprises children and young people of all age groups – from kindergarten to upper secondary school – within the business area of Sparkasse Karlsruhe. Schools of various types, clubs, and educational institutions in Karlsruhe and surrounding municipalities such as Ettlingen, Rheinstetten, Malsch, and other communities are supported.
