About the funder
just – the youth foundation of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart was founded in 2000 by Bishop Gebhard Fürst. It supports innovative and novel projects by and for young people in the fields of religion, social affairs, and culture within the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. The foundation is financed through earned interest, collection funds, and donations, and since 2020, in addition to traditional funding programs, it has offered uncomplicated micro-grants for small amounts. Every three years, the foundation sets a funding focus (e.g., "Weitblicker," "barriere:frei") and thereby specifically supports projects that address current social challenges. In addition, the youth foundation assists applicants with the application process and public relations.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support young people in implementing innovative project ideas, strengthen their commitment to church and society, and empower them to take on responsibility. We provide impetus for forward-looking projects, promote equal opportunities and sustainability, and contribute to breaking down barriers through targeted funding and support.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at young people as well as organizations involved in church youth work within the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, particularly Catholic parishes, pastoral units, deaneries, and recognized youth associations. Innovative projects initiated by and for young people are supported. In individual cases, projects without direct Catholic sponsorship are also funded, provided they make a socially relevant contribution.
