just52 – Funding Program of the just Youth Foundation

The Youth Foundation is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an innovative funding format that facilitates access to up to €2,500 for young project creators in Germany. The goal is to strengthen creative and socially relevant ideas from adolescents and young adults. At the core is a low-threshold application process: a concise project presentation in the form of a short video lasting a maximum of 52 seconds is sufficient. This includes a project description with objectives, target group, timeframe, and cost estimate. Submissions can be made at any time easily via Instagram tagging or file transfer (sTransfer) to the foundation. This fast format particularly supports innovative approaches in the fields of children and youth as well as work & social affairs and appeals to all those who actively plan and implement independent initiatives.

In the selection process, the degree of innovation, clarity of the video pitch, and feasibility play a central role. After receipt of the documents, feedback is provided promptly by an expert team. Following a positive decision notification, a brief administrative procedure is activated and the funding is transferred. A final project report with results and photographic documentation completes the process. This program is open nationwide to private individuals and permanently offers the opportunity to implement new initiatives without fixed deadlines. In doing so, the foundation sends a clear signal for swift support of young ideas and strengthens social cohesion through targeted project funding.
