About the funder
The Karl Hupe Foundation is a non-profit housing company based in Essen. As a private law foundation established according to the will of the master builder Karl Hupe, it has sustainably managed and expanded a portfolio of around 300 apartments in 18 residential complexes since 1973. Its focus is on the creation and preservation of affordable, modernized, and energy-optimized living space as well as an attractive residential environment. Generated surpluses are primarily reinvested in maintenance, modernization, and portfolio expansion.
