About the funder
Since its founding in 1923, the Catholic Canisius Foundation Ingolstadt has been committed to supporting young people on a non-profit basis. The focus of its activities is the provision of affordable housing in several student dormitories as well as the supply of balanced meals to pupils and students in its own cafeterias. In addition, the foundation organizes cultural events and operates a historic venue, the Orban Hall, to promote community life and complement educational and care services.

Mission & Vision
The Catholic Canisius Foundation Ingolstadt aims to improve the living and learning conditions of students and pupils through affordable housing, healthy nutrition, and cultural offerings. In doing so, it promotes community, integration, and equal opportunities regardless of social or cultural backgrounds.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at students of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, the Technical University of Ingolstadt, as well as pupils of the grammar schools and secondary schools in Ingolstadt. The foundation addresses young people who require affordable housing and reliable midday meals, and furthermore promotes social integration and community life.
