About the funder

As an extracurricular learning and experience center, it combines an interactive museum area (hands-on museum, walk-in heart, and changing exhibitions) with a wide-ranging academy section: The offerings range from early artistic education and art school to STEM-oriented formats such as inventor clubs and sustainability workshops, as well as holiday programs, children's university, school week programs, and special formats like teddy clinic or Girls’ Day/Boys’ Day. Additionally, offerings for children's birthday parties, group programs, and mobile workshops ("KAF on the go") provide diverse access for families, school classes, and other educational institutions.

Mission & Vision

The Kinder-Akademie Fulda aims to inspire children and young people through experimental, interdisciplinary learning and creative work. In addition to practical museum experiences and interactive exhibitions, it offers an extensive educational program that fosters curiosity, a spirit of inquiry, and artistic expression.

Target groups

The program is aimed at children and adolescents of all age groups – from preschool children (from about 3 years old) in early artistic education, through school classes and holiday groups, to families and individual young people who wish to attend workshops and programs independently. In addition, educational institutions, clubs, and organizations are addressed through group programs and mobile formats.
