About the funder
The Knalltüte Children’s Foundation is a legally dependent trust foundation under the umbrella of the Caritas Foundation in the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. It supports children and young people in East Württemberg who require special assistance and is committed to sustainably improving their educational opportunities, participation, and life prospects. Through project funding, endowments, and donations, it supports initiatives in the fields of education, physical activity, culture, sports, and social support.

Mission & Vision
Our mission statement: Empowering children's opportunities. We believe that justice begins with equal opportunities for all children. Therefore, we specifically support projects and initiatives that enable children and young people in East Württemberg to develop their talents, overcome obstacles, and shape a promising future.
Target groups
The foundation is aimed at children and adolescents in East Württemberg as well as at institutions and initiatives (e.g., schools, daycare centers, clubs, youth centers) that carry out projects and programs for this target group. In particular, disadvantaged children and adolescents are to receive equal educational opportunities and participation through financial, material, or non-material support.
