KoblenzerBürgerStiftung

The KoblenzerBürgerStiftung is a legally recognized foundation under civil law and at the same time a community foundation of citizens of Koblenz. Independent, non-partisan, and non-denominational, it promotes civic engagement in Koblenz by bringing together donors of time, ideas, and money. Its scope of impact ranges from supporting charitable projects in the fields of social affairs, culture, youth, education, and the environment to initiating its own programs such as the Learning Mentor Project and the Volunteer Agency.

Utilizing potential – supporting projects. The KoblenzerBürgerStiftung calls on citizens, businesses, and municipal actors to take responsibility for their hometown. It initiates, plans, and sustainably funds charitable initiatives, connects committed individuals, and deploys financial resources effectively. Transparency, independence, and sustainable impact are at the core of its work.

The funding programs are aimed at all citizens, associations, initiatives, and companies in Koblenz that wish to implement charitable projects—particularly in the areas of youth and elderly care, education, culture, environment, and sports. Special programs support children and young people in primary schools through the Learning Mentor Project, as well as volunteers via the Volunteer Agency. Furthermore, the foundation offers potential donors and endowers a variety of opportunities to establish funds or financially support existing projects.
