About the funder
The Kolpingstiftung-Rudolf-Geiselberger is a church foundation under private law based in Augsburg and part of the commitment of the Kolping Society in the Diocese of Augsburg. Since its founding in 1987, it has been dedicated to helping people in need under the DZI-certified motto "Help for self-help." With an endowment capital of over €7.6 million and more than €18.5 million in aid funds disbursed across more than eight countries, the foundation supports projects in Germany, India, South Africa, and other countries. It assists families in need, promotes vocational training for young people, enables microcredit and hygiene projects, and offers sponsorships as well as opportunities for additional endowments.

Mission & Vision
The Kolpingstiftung-Rudolf-Geiselberger does not leave disadvantaged people alone in their distress. Through comprehensive, effective support and sustainable project funding, it enables them to permanently improve their living conditions through their own efforts.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at socially disadvantaged children, adolescents, and families in Germany as well as in developing and emerging countries such as India and South Africa. The focus is on people who urgently need assistance due to poverty, lack of education, or limited future prospects. The foundation pursues a holistic approach to provide them with sustainable opportunities for a self-determined life.
