Land Burgenland

The State of Burgenland is the official state government of the Austrian federal state of Burgenland. As the highest administrative and legislative authority, it is responsible for key policy and service areas such as education, economy, social affairs, culture, and infrastructure. Through the joint online platform burgenland.at as well as specialized departments (e.g., Department 9 – EU, Society and Funding), the State of Burgenland provides extensive information and financial support programs, including the child bonus, school start allowance, lunch subsidy, and numerous other grants for families, municipalities, businesses, and associations.

This includes, in particular, low-income families with children (e.g., child bonus, lunch subsidy), educational institutions and students (e.g., school start allowance), municipalities, associations, companies, pensioners, as well as other target groups to be supported through state grants, subsidies, and advisory services.
