About the funder
The State of Burgenland is the state government of the Austrian federal state of Burgenland, headquartered in Eisenstadt. As a central funding agency, it consolidates a variety of funding programs through Department 9 – EU, Society and Funding Affairs within the main division for Social and Climate Funds, including support for music schools. The goal is to strengthen social justice and reduce administrative barriers so that funding benefits reach the eligible recipients directly and without bureaucracy.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support the family as the foundation of society and to provide all residents of Burgenland with equal access to educational and cultural opportunities. Through music school funding, we adhere to the principle of enabling every child, regardless of income, to receive musical education, thereby promoting personal development and cultural participation.
Target groups
The music school funding is aimed at legal guardians with their main residence in Burgenland and their children who are enrolled in a recognized music school of the Burgenland Music School Association, the Leitha-Steinfeld Music School Association, the Neudörfl Music School, or Bruck/Leitha. A prerequisite is that the monthly net household income does not exceed the defined income limits (levels 1–3).
