Mission & Vision
The Youth Department of the State of Burgenland is committed to enabling young people in Burgenland to actively participate and contribute. Through targeted funding programs as well as advisory and networking services, we aim to strengthen skills, promote democratic processes, and ensure a diverse range of cultural and recreational opportunities. We view youth promotion as an investment in Burgenland’s future and work in partnership with municipalities, schools, youth organizations, and institutions.
Target groups
The funding programs of the LJR are aimed at young people up to the age of 30 in Burgenland, youth organizations and associations with a democratic orientation, schools and school classes from the 9th grade onwards for EU trips, municipalities with appointed youth municipal officers, individuals and groups managing educational and cultural projects for youth, as well as institutions for the training and further education of youth workers.
