About the funder
The State of Salzburg – Municipalities – Public Employment Service is the professionally responsible unit within the Department of Economic Affairs, Tourism and Municipalities of the Salzburg State Government (Department 1, Division 1/01). In its active labor market policy, it consolidates labor market measures and project funding to improve employment opportunities for job seekers and to better align supply and demand in the Salzburg labor market. The range of funding includes qualification programs (e.g., Salzburg Education Voucher, AQUA), career orientation measures (BIM, Talent Check, Girls' Counseling), special initiatives for women and STEM, apprenticeship projects, as well as foundation programs ("Implacement," "Outplacement") and the recruitment of skilled workers from third countries.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is a sustainable, cross-departmental labor market policy that combines innovation and quality – from career orientation through lifelong learning to securing skilled labor. We see ourselves as initiators and funding providers who specifically align projects with the Labor and Skilled Labor Strategy 2030, leverage synergies, and position Salzburg as an attractive location for work and training.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at job seekers and individuals who are unemployed or receiving emergency assistance, participants in AMS measures (further and retraining, reintegration), pupils and students, apprentices and students in STEM fields, women re-entering the labor market, as well as companies and educational institutions implementing labor market policy projects.
