Mission & Vision
Our mission is to strengthen the health and quality of life of the Tyrolean population through evidence- and resource-based health promotion, prevention, and care. We rely on cross-departmental collaboration following the 'Health in All Policies' approach to create healthy living environments and sustainably promote the personal responsibility and health literacy of all citizens.
Target groups
The services and funding programs of the Department of Health & Prevention – Care are aimed at all residents of Tyrol. The focus is on children and adolescents, working individuals, older people, as well as vulnerable and care-dependent persons. The goal is to ensure needs-based care and health services for people in different life situations through targeted measures.
