Mission & Vision

Target groups
The target group of the Municipal Department 24 includes all actors in Vienna’s health and social care sector – from city municipal departments to hospitals, primary care units, and nursing facilities, as well as health insurance providers, resident physicians, health and nursing professionals, and patients and citizens. Through strategic framework planning and financing instruments, MA 24 ultimately targets the entire population of Vienna, which benefits from comprehensive, barrier-free, and innovative healthcare provision.
