Our mission is to protect, preserve, and sustainably develop the natural foundations of life in North Rhine-Westphalia. We create reliable data bases, develop innovative concepts for water, soil, and climate protection, and support politics, business, and society in implementing ecological objectives.
Target groups
The services and funding programs of LANUK are aimed at public institutions, municipalities, companies, research institutions, as well as the interested public. In particular, pilot and model projects in water management, environmental levies, and climate protection are supported to develop practical solutions and ensure knowledge transfer.
