Landesförderinstitut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The Landesförderinstitut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LFI M-V) is the central funding service provider of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the promotion of investments and modernizations in the fields of economy, infrastructure, housing construction, environment, energy, as well as agriculture and forestry. It is established as an organizationally and personnel-wise separate, yet legally non-independent business unit of Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (NORD/LB) and acts on behalf of the state as a trustee of sovereign funding programs. The LFI M-V implements grant and loan programs promptly and efficiently and offers a competition-neutral advisory service for applicants through its funding finder.

As a state funding service provider, the LFI M-V aims to sustainably strengthen the economic development and quality of life in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Through transparent and unbureaucratic implementation of funding programs as well as individual consultation, we contribute to job creation, infrastructure modernization, and affordable housing. We act in the interest of the common good and support private, municipal, and entrepreneurial projects promptly and competently.

The funding programs of LFI M-V are aimed at a broad target group, including: companies and investors from industry, crafts, and services; municipalities, special-purpose associations, and public institutions; private builders and property owners; clubs, associations, and non-profit organizations; private individuals (e.g., for barrier-free living).
