The State Service Center for Civic Engagement is a central advisory and information platform of the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia. It supports volunteers, initiatives, associations, federations, and other civil society organizations throughout NRW with legal questions, the search for funding, and the development of networks. As part of the state's engagement strategy, it offers straightforward guidance, connects suitable programs, and promotes the strengthening of volunteer work locally.

The State Service Center for Civic Engagement is committed to sustainably strengthening voluntary engagement in North Rhine-Westphalia. It aims to ensure barrier-free access to funding advice and legal information, reduce obstacles, and connect actors within civil society. Our mission is to make civic engagement visible, promote it, and foster a solidaristic, diverse society.

The services of the State Service Center are aimed at all those who are engaged in voluntary work or wish to promote engagement. This includes individuals, informal initiatives, associations, foundations, federations, municipalities, and other civil society organizations in North Rhine-Westphalia. In particular, non-legal associations and individuals also gain access to funding programs and legal guidance.
