Landeszentrale für politische Bildung des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt

The State Center for Political Education of the State of Saxony-Anhalt is a public institution under the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Culture of the State of Saxony-Anhalt. It offers a comprehensive range of political education events, publications, and digital resources to promote understanding of democracy, political participation, and social dialogue. This includes seminars, lectures, exhibitions, memorial site visits, study trips, as well as the provision of a literature center with political science specialist literature.

The State Center for Political Education is committed to strengthening democratic culture in Saxony-Anhalt. It promotes engagement, critical thinking, and tolerance through educational programs that reach all population groups. In doing so, it adheres to the Beutelsbach Consensus and the principles of political education as a contribution to an open, diverse, and responsible society.

The offerings of the State Agency are aimed at citizens of all age groups, especially students, teachers, political education providers, associations, and civil society organizations in Saxony-Anhalt. The goal is to impart historical and current political knowledge, promote social participation, and strengthen democratic values.
