About the funder
The Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall Foundation is a legally recognized and non-profit organization established in 2005 as a community foundation in the district of Schwäbisch Hall. It supports projects in the fields of youth, assistance for the disabled and elderly, strengthening and protection of the family, sports, education and science, culture, art and monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation. Its purpose is to strengthen civic engagement, mobilize financial resources, and provide companies as well as citizens with a platform under which they can contribute to the common good through money, time, and ideas.

Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to sustainably promote and network civic engagement in the Schwäbisch Hall district and its partner districts. By providing and coordinating financial resources as well as supporting project development, it enables companies, associations, initiatives, and individuals to actively and diversely contribute—with money, time, and ideas—to the common good and thus strengthen social cohesion.
Target groups
Non-profit projects and initiatives based in and carried out within the Schwäbisch Hall district and its partner districts are supported. Eligible to apply are associations, organizations, initiatives, municipalities, companies, and private individuals active in the areas of youth welfare, assistance for the disabled and elderly, family support, sports, education & science, culture & monument preservation, as well as environmental and nature conservation, who strengthen community and social cohesion locally through their commitment.
