Mission & Vision
LfA Förderbank Bayern is a competition-neutral and efficient bank of the Free State, serving as a partner to the government, associations, and house banks to provide positive impulses to Bavaria's economic location. It focuses on the success of Bavarian companies and municipalities, promotes with streamlined, attractive products, and works in partnership with its house bank to secure future-oriented investments and sustainable labor market effects.
Target groups
LfA primarily targets the Bavarian SME sector: from young start-ups and freelance businesses to established medium-sized companies with annual revenues of up to EUR 500 million, as well as municipalities implementing infrastructure and climate protection projects. Additionally, it supports citizen energy cooperatives and house banks in consortium financing and offers specialized funding products for energy-efficient renovations, renewable energies, and digital innovations.
