Mission & Vision
The mission of the foundation is to make life in all its fullness tangible and to prevent suicides by sustainably supporting the work of the association Lichtblick Flensburg e.V. Through the acquisition of endowments, donations, and assets, the foundation aims to ensure that people with suicidal thoughts as well as survivors receive competent counseling, support, and prevention services. We are convinced that suicide concerns us all – as a society, as feeling human beings, and within our personal environment.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at individuals experiencing acute, chronic, or passive suicidal thoughts, as well as their relatives in the Flensburg area and surroundings. In addition, the target groups include children and adolescents in schools, youth centers, and church communities in the region, who are supported through targeted prevention measures. The foundation also addresses private and institutional donors who wish to sustainably promote the work of suicide prevention and crisis support.
