About the funder
The Marga Comiotto Foundation, based in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, supports psycho-oncology and psychosocial research for cancer patients. It was founded by Silvano Comiotto after his wife Marga passed away from cancer in 1990 at the age of 36. Since then, the foundation has specifically promoted specialized institutions and projects that offer psychological and psychosocial support to cancer patients and their relatives. Through financial contributions, campaigns, and public relations, it helps to close gaps in psycho-oncological care and to enhance the professional quality of services in hospitals and outpatient clinics.

Mission & Vision
The Marga Comiotto Foundation is committed to expanding and professionalizing the psychosocial care of cancer patients and their relatives throughout Germany. Our goal is to establish a comprehensive care and support structure in which mental health is promoted just as naturally as physical therapy.
