About the funder
The MEGA Educational Foundation is a non-profit foundation initiated by the B&C Private Foundation and the Berndorf Private Foundation with a starting budget of 5.5 million euros. Since its inception, it has supported innovative educational initiatives in Austria with a focus on equal opportunities and economic competence. With its annual education fund of 1 million euros, the MEGA Academy, as well as targeted public relations and coaching services, it supports educational projects in their growth and impact measurement.

Mission & Vision
MEGA supports educational innovations that increase equal opportunities and strengthen basic economic understanding. Our goal is to provide educational ideas with financial support, expertise, and visibility so that they become sustainably embedded in the education system and empower young people to participate actively and responsibly in the economy and society.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at educational initiatives throughout Austria – from early childhood education through compulsory schooling and secondary levels to vocational schools. Target groups include project sponsors, start-ups, and associations that seek to implement and scale proven, innovative concepts in the fields of social equity or economic and financial education. Additionally, teachers, educational institutions, and students directly benefit from the supported offerings.
