About the funder
The Milestone Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in Kamp-Lintfort, dedicated to making the world a bit more hopeful and respectful. Founded at the end of 2020 by Heike and Olaf Broekmans, it promotes its own projects and supports non-profit organizations in the fields of child and youth welfare, senior care, nature and species conservation, as well as culture and sports. Its commitment ranges from local initiatives in the Lower Rhine region to projects in Namibia and Indonesia. Particular emphasis is placed on direct aid without administrative costs and creating moments of happiness for young and old alike.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to set milestones and mark directions to give hope and prospects to people in need. We believe in the transformative power of community and commitment and pursue the goal of implementing children's rights worldwide, combating child poverty, and enabling a dignified daily life for children, adolescents, and seniors in need. In doing so, we always act in accordance with our statutes, transparently, and without additional administrative costs.
Target groups
The Milestone Foundation targets non-profit associations and organizations that implement projects in the fields of child and youth welfare, senior care, nature and species conservation, as well as culture and sports. The primary target groups are disadvantaged children and youth worldwide, seniors in nursing and care homes in the Lower Rhine region, and local cultural and sports initiatives. Through sponsorships, project funding, and its own initiatives, the foundation supports both individuals and groups seeking to achieve sustainable improvements in their environment.
