The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality of the State of Saxony-Anhalt is the highest state authority responsible for a wide range of tasks in the areas of labor market policy, health, care, integration, family and youth, social participation of people with disabilities, social security, occupational safety, and equality. Headquartered in Magdeburg, it coordinates funding programs, calls for proposals, and legislation, oversees state examination offices and arbitration boards, supports social initiatives, and ensures the implementation of measures to promote social justice and equal opportunities.
