About the funder
The miteinander leben Foundation was established in April 2006 as an independent foundation under civil law and recognized by the Cologne District Government. It is managed by DSZ Deutsches Stiftungszentrum GmbH (Essen). The foundation is a member of the Association of German Foundations and is recognized by the tax office as charitable and benevolent. The purpose of the foundation is to support people with physical and multiple disabilities through occupational therapy, therapeutic gymnastics, and other support measures, particularly through kindergartens, residential and recreational facilities, as well as through financial assistance for the procurement of aids and the implementation of support measures to improve quality of life.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to provide long-term support to individuals with physical and multiple disabilities in their desire for social participation. Through targeted financial grants and interest funds, we promote inclusive projects and institutions to enable a self-determined life at the heart of society.
Target groups
The foundation is aimed at physically and multiply disabled children, adolescents, and adults, as well as at tax-privileged public law corporations and other non-profit organizations that implement inclusive housing, care, and support services for this target group.
