Münstersche AIDS-Stiftung
About the funder
The Münstersche AIDS Foundation was established in 2001 by Aidshilfe Münster e.V. at the initiative of its members, after a man living with HIV bequeathed his estate to the local Aidshilfe. The foundation fulfills the deceased’s intentions by permanently providing funds for prevention, counseling, and care related to sexually transmitted infections. In addition to Aidshilfe Münster e.V., it also supports supraregional and international projects, including self-help groups for infected women (Project ARIADNE), prevention work in Zambia, an emergency fund of Aidshilfe Münster, campaigns against the isolation of African migrants living with HIV, as well as educational seminars in Namibia and the Rhineland.
