Mission & Vision

The MUSICA SACRA Foundation – Dr. Ott Foundation is dedicated to spiritually engaging people through sacred music and ensuring the preservation and further development of church musical traditions. It understands music as a bridge to other religions and as a means to make the "mystery of faith" tangibly experienced in a moving form. Its goal is to support church musical projects that bring the soul into balance and strengthen cultural diversity in worship services and concert life.

Target groups

Funding is provided primarily to non-profit church music associations, choirs, orchestras, and individual artists within the ecclesiastical environment of the Johanneskirche Künzelsau, the St. Michael Church Schwäbisch Hall, and other churches in the region. Foreign music ensembles and cooperation partners seeking exchange in the field of sacred music are also part of the target group. The foundation addresses organizers, event planners, and associations that plan and implement church music concerts.
