Mission & Vision

Our mission is to serve as an advocate, advisor, enabler, and accomplice of the Berlin pop music scene by pursuing a respectful and content-driven funding approach. We place artistic quality, the perspectives of musicians, and the creative power of their communities at the center. Through participatory funding processes and innovative programs, we promote a vibrant, inclusive, and diverse pop culture in Berlin.

Target groups

Our funding is aimed at professionally active musicians, bands, independent labels, as well as event organizers and pop music projects based or residing in Berlin. We support projects across all genres of pop music, including cross-genre and experimental approaches, with a special focus on diversity, gender equality, and inclusion. The goal is to strengthen Berlin's pop culture by supporting individuals, collectives, and communities.
