About the funder
The OeAD-GmbH – Agency for Education and Internationalization is a non-profit limited liability company, 100% owned by the Republic of Austria. The owner’s representative is the Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research. OeAD implements measures for national, European, and international cooperation in the fields of science, research, art, higher education, and general education, and acts as the national agency for Erasmus+ as well as the European Solidarity Corps.

Mission & Vision
The OeAD contributes to inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education by supporting individuals and institutions in acquiring the necessary competencies for a self-determined life in a digitalized and globalized world. Through transparent validation procedures, accountable management of funding, and a service-oriented approach, the OeAD promotes the innovation capacity of education systems and research institutions.
Target groups
The funding programs and services of OeAD are aimed at students, researchers, educators, as well as educational institutions (kindergartens, schools, universities), research institutions, cultural and civil society organizations. In addition, ministries, regional agencies, and international partners benefit from OeAD's expertise in the planning and implementation of cross-border education and research projects.
