Mission & Vision

We are a non-profit association based in Bonn, politically and ideologically neutral. We are committed to the social participation of immigrants and their descendants and aim to change the social climate towards a culture of welcome and recognition. Through educational measures, events, and projects, we qualify our participants and promote their ability to perform and participate.

Target groups

The programs of the Otto Benecke Foundation are aimed at immigrants – including late repatriates, refugees, asylum seekers, and holders of other residence permits – as well as their spouses and children. In addition, members of minorities and multipliers (e.g., municipalities, welfare associations, migrant organizations, educational institutions) who are active in migration work are addressed. The goal is to develop individual potential and initiate sustainable integration processes in the education system, the training market, and society.
