About the funder

The Otto Diersch Foundation was established on December 5, 2002, by Ingeborg Karstedt and her sons Bernd, Axel, and Svend on the occasion of the 100th birthday of the company founder Otto Diersch. The purpose of the foundation is primarily the promotion of youth sports, youth welfare, education, and the international exchange of young people, with a focus on Bremen. With the proceeds from the foundation's assets, the foundation supports both non-profit organizations and its own projects.

Mission & Vision
