Otto Wolff-Stiftung

Private foundation

About the funder

The Otto Wolff Foundation was established on August 13, 1998, with the approval of the District Government of Cologne, resulting from the merger of the Rudolf Siedersleben’s Otto Wolff Foundation and the Otto Wolff von Amerongen Foundation, and is their legal successor. The purpose of this non-profit foundation is to promote science and research, education, training and upbringing (particularly of young scientists), international understanding, German culture and works of art, as well as animal welfare. Previous funding activities include, among others, the Institute for Economic Policy at the University of Cologne and the German Council on Foreign Relations (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik e. V.) as the Otto Wolff Director.
