The Peter Gläsel Foundation is an independent, non-profit, and operational foundation based in Detmold. It focuses primarily on pioneering educational projects, mainly in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region. In cooperation with experts and partner organizations, it independently develops and implements financing and execution concepts. The goal is to provide impetus for innovative changes in the education system and to utilize existing opportunities for such transformations.

Mission & Vision
"The promotion of education determines the quality of our future." The Peter Gläsel Foundation sees itself as a pioneer, placing people at the center of its work. With enthusiasm and motivation, it identifies relevant educational topics, designs, finances, and supports its own projects as well as cooperative initiatives to create sustainable impulses for forward-looking learning.
Target groups
The funding activities are aimed at schools, educational professionals, and educational institutions in East Westphalia-Lippe, as well as at students of all age groups. Furthermore, the foundation cooperates with extracurricular partners from business, science, and the social sector to implement practical programs for study and career orientation as well as early childhood education.
