Professor Dr. Clauss Dietz Foundation – Foundation for Education is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Zwickau. Since its recognition by the State Directorate Chemnitz in July 2010, it has been committed to improving educational opportunities in Saxony. The foundation supports its own model projects such as the alternative school project "start off" at the DPFA Rainbow Schools, assists non-profit organizations with earmarked funding, and focuses on the prevention of school absenteeism, the promotion of basic skills (reading, writing, arithmetic), as well as civic education and the strengthening of talented young professionals.

Fair opportunity for quality education for all children and young people in Saxony: The Professor Dr. Clauss Dietz Foundation is committed to creating prospects for a self-determined and fulfilling life by preventing school absenteeism, promoting democratic education, strengthening basic skills, and supporting young talent.
Target groups
Non-profit institutions and organizations in Saxony committed to education as well as general and vocational education (including student assistance) are supported. The focus is on projects for the prevention of school absenteeism and dropout, the promotion of basic skills and democratic education, as well as the support of talented young professionals. Individuals are not funded.
