About the funder
The Rainer Winter Foundation is a legally recognized public foundation under civil law, based in Fürth. Founded in 1980 by Rainer Winter with the approval of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, it pursues the selfless and exclusive purpose of providing unbureaucratic, direct, and altruistic support to needy, sick, and disabled children and adolescents both domestically and abroad. The foundation's capital currently amounts to 550,000 euros, and since its inception, over 4.2 million euros have been donated to projects for disadvantaged children and youth. The foundation incurs no administrative costs; 100% of donations go directly to aid projects.
