About the funder

The Reken Foundation is a community foundation founded in 2008 to strengthen the sense of community and shared responsibility in the municipality of Reken. It supports a variety of projects in the fields of child, youth, elderly, and disability assistance, charitable causes, sports, education, general and vocational training, cultural purposes, international understanding, tolerance, intercultural dialogue, as well as science and research. The foundation is economically, politically, and denominationally independent and finances its projects from the income generated by the foundation's capital and donations.

Mission & Vision

The Reken Foundation aims to improve the quality of life in the municipality of Reken by encouraging citizens and businesses to actively participate in social responsibilities. It seeks to provide a platform where citizens and businesses can jointly assume responsibility for the community.

Target groups

Under certain circumstances, projects outside the municipality are also supported, provided they have a connection to Reken.
