About the funder

The Rolf Scheuermann Foundation is a non-profit legal foundation under civil law, recognized by the Karlsruhe Regional Council on August 6, 2009. It is the owner of the estate of its founder, Rolf Scheuermann, in particular the Rolf Scheuermann GmbH, whose proceeds are entirely used for charitable purposes. The foundation also collects donations and issues donation receipts for these contributions. Its funding priorities lie in the areas of youth, disability, and elderly care, cultural institutions, education and science (especially the awarding of scholarships and prizes), fire services, and sports.

Mission & Vision

The Rolf Scheuermann Foundation is committed to sustainably strengthening social, cultural, and community cohesion in the eastern Enz district. It specifically supports projects that benefit children, youth, the elderly, and people with disabilities, promote cultural diversity, support emerging scientists, reinforce fire-fighting services, and enable local sports and physical activity.

Target groups

Only non-profit project proposals are funded. Eligible to apply are associations, museums, non-profit limited liability companies (gGmbHs), and comparable organizations from Wiernsheim, Mühlacker-Lomersheim, and the eastern Enz district. Foreign projects as well as private individuals are not considered.
