About the funder

The Peter Rosin Foundation is a non-profit trust foundation, established by veterinarian Peter Rosin with the aim of bridging the gap between conventional veterinary medicine and complementary animal medicine. Funded exclusively from the founder’s own resources and independent donations, it supports three key areas of action: the scientific research and development of complementary methods (e.g., homeopathy, phytotherapy, acupuncture), projects for animal and nature conservation, as well as social engagement in animal welfare, particularly for people with limited financial means.

Mission & Vision

The Peter Rosin Foundation is committed to scientifically substantiating the effectiveness of complementary veterinary methods through independent research and practical knowledge transfer, while simultaneously protecting habitats and animal welfare and assuming social responsibility in animal protection. Our goal is to make well-founded, gentle treatment methods accessible to veterinarians and animal owners, thereby promoting animal health, the environment, and the common good.

Target groups

Our funding programs and activities are aimed at: veterinarians and scientific institutions in the field of veterinary and complementary medicine for conducting and disseminating research and studies; nature conservation and animal welfare initiatives focused on the preservation of habitats, biodiversity, and animal well-being; animal owners in financial distress as well as social organizations that support people in difficult life situations to enable them to care for their animals appropriately.
