Mission & Vision
The SAGA GWG Stiftung Nachbarschaft complements the social and cultural commitment of the SAGA corporate group in Hamburg. Its goal is to make a positive contribution to neighborhood development through project funding and its own initiatives, to stabilize neighborhoods, and to connect socially disadvantaged groups. Independent, non-denominational, and politically neutral, it supports long-term projects that enable interaction and participation.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at non-profit institutions, associations, initiatives, and facilities within the Hamburg metropolitan area. Eligible to apply are organizations that implement projects in residential neighborhoods focused on social integration, cultural revitalization, and the improvement of neighborhood relations. Individual applications from private persons are not possible; the foundation places great importance on sustainable networks, cooperation, and voluntary engagement in Hamburg.
