SCHILF – Stiftung für Chancengleichheit und individuelle leistungsgerechte Förderung

The SCHILF Foundation, established in 2009 by Katharina Raue and Arno Schubach, is a non-profit organization based in Urbar, Rhineland-Palatinate. The foundation supports educational projects both domestically and internationally, with a special focus on equal opportunities and individual performance-based support. Its goal is to enable children, adolescents, and young adults from challenging social backgrounds to access educational, sports, and recreational opportunities. The foundation supports projects in the fields of education, general and vocational training, sports, child and youth welfare, democratic governance, and international understanding. The SCHILF Foundation is officially recognized by the state and classified as non-profit by the tax authorities, allowing for tax-advantaged donations.

The SCHILF Foundation is committed to promoting educational equity and social equality. It aims to contribute to reducing educational inequality in Germany by supporting individuals from educationally disadvantaged families in expanding their skills and knowledge. The funding programs of the SCHILF Foundation are aimed at children, adolescents, and young adults, especially those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The foundation supports non-profit organizations, public institutions such as clubs, daycare centers, or schools active in the Urbar region. Companies or self-employed individuals may also submit funding applications, provided the measures serve the common good. The target group includes both beginners and advanced participants who are genuinely interested in educational programs.
