About the funder

The Schneider-Texier Foundation is a legally capable public foundation under civil law based in Bingen. It was established by the will of Gustav Schneider-Texier on June 27, 1994, and received approval from the Rheinhessen-Pfalz District Government on December 13, 1996. Income is generated from the estate fully incorporated into the foundation's assets in the form of securities income, with which around 100 projects in the greater Bingen area have been supported since its inception, with a total funding volume of approximately €1.3 million. The focus is on supporting kindergartens, schools, church institutions, social services, as well as cultural and municipal initiatives.

Mission & Vision

The foundation upholds the social commitment of Gustav Schneider-Texier and aims to sustainably support charitable institutions and initiatives in the greater Bingen area. Target groups

Eligible to apply are associations, non-profit companies, and public bodies that plan innovative or urgently needed measures to improve social and cultural life in the region.
