Schullandheim Strümpfelbrunn

Schullandheim Strümpfelbrunn is a non-profit foundation of the Ludwigsburg district and the Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg. As an extracurricular learning and meeting place, it offers accommodation for up to 100 people and serves school classes, youth, and adult groups in modernly equipped multi-bed and single rooms, including 7 barrier-free rooms. The facility features group and teaching rooms, a multimedia offering, as well as sports, leisure, and nature experience areas. The foundation is administered by the Ludwigsburg District Office and managed by Corinna and Kai Bachert.

The Schullandheim Strümpfelbrunn Foundation promotes education and upbringing through project-oriented, interdisciplinary programs in the fields of environmental education, natural sciences, technology, health education, music, intercultural encounters, social integration, and sports activities. The goal is to provide young people with practical experiences in a nature-oriented environment and to strengthen their personal development.

The Schullandheim primarily caters to school classes from the Ludwigsburg district and beyond, youth groups, children’s and adult groups for multi-day educational and recreational activities. The focus is on environmental education projects, class trips, intercultural encounters, and socially integrative activities; groups requiring barrier-free accommodation and special care services are also welcome.
