Schulstiftung im Bistum Osnabrück

The Schulstiftung im Bistum Osnabrück is a legally recognized ecclesiastical foundation under public law, headquartered in Osnabrück. It was established according to church law and serves as the sponsor of 21 Catholic schools in Lower Saxony and Bremen. The purpose of the foundation is the education and upbringing of children and young people towards responsible religious living and global responsibility based on the Catholic faith. The foundation assumes sponsorship of its own schools, supports Christian educational institutions of other sponsors, and conducts fundraising as well as public relations. Through a central office, it consolidates tasks in the areas of finance, personnel, school supervision, school pastoral care, and religious instruction to provide organizational relief and professional exchange for the schools.

It supports students of all school levels – from primary schools through secondary schools and grammar schools to vocational and technical schools – as well as their teachers, educational staff, and parents. Through its funding and advisory services, it particularly promotes institutions that aim to provide Christian education and upbringing within a value-oriented environment.
