Sigmund Kiener Stiftung

The Sigmund Kiener Foundation is a legally recognized charitable foundation under civil law based in Baden-Baden. Since its establishment in 2007, it has been primarily committed to the fields of culture, science and research, as well as education. Due to the founder's personal connection, the foundation places special emphasis on local projects, particularly the maintenance of the children's music world TOCCARION at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. The funding is predominantly allocated through the transfer of funds to other non-profit organizations; in addition, the foundation implements its own initiatives to fulfill its objectives.

Primarily supported are tax-privileged and non-profit corporations and institutions in the fields of culture, science, education, sports, religion, and welfare. Special focus is placed on local projects around Baden-Baden as well as initiatives that support the personal and educational development of children and adolescents. These include measures to strengthen self-confidence, self-esteem, psychological resilience, social skills, communication abilities, and creativity.
