Mission & Vision
The Software AG Foundation promotes unbureaucratic encounters on equal footing and thereby strengthens social cohesion. It believes in the transformative power of voluntary commitment and provides unrestricted funding spaces for local actors to foster community, diversity, and respect. Its goal is to bring together people of different backgrounds and jointly develop solutions for pressing societal challenges.
Target groups
The primary target group of the Software AG Foundation consists of community foundations with quality seals or those eligible for quality seals, as well as the Houses of Resources throughout Germany, which act as applicants. Through these regional organizations, civil society initiatives are supported that implement encounter and integration projects for refugees, newcomers, and long-standing residents at the local level. The funded projects range from intercultural dialogue and sports and cultural offerings to empowerment and qualification measures.
