About the funder
The Spadaka Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation under civil law and an institution of Volksbank eG in Friesoythe. It was established in 2005 by the Spar- und Darlehnskasse eG Friesoythe to ensure the long-term promotion of charitable and benevolent purposes within its operational area. Its funding region includes the city of Friesoythe as well as the municipalities of Barßel and Hilkenbrook. The foundation primarily supports projects in the fields of religion, public health, youth and elderly care, arts and culture, monument protection and preservation, nature and environmental conservation, landscape management, welfare services, sports, and local heritage preservation. The Spadaka Foundation supports both existing initiatives and the establishment of new foundations, offering committed citizens a platform to realize their visions for the common good.
