Mission & Vision

The St. Antonius Foundation of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising sees itself as an expression of Christian responsibility and charity (diakonia). In faith and freedom, it promotes diaconal engagement by strengthening ecclesiastical and private initiatives through the provision of financial resources and infrastructure. Its goal is to create sustainable structures for supporting those in need and thus to put diaconal values into practical effect.

Target groups

The foundation's target group comprises, on the one hand, individuals who require assistance due to their physical, mental, or emotional condition, and on the other hand, church welfare and care institutions in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising that support and accompany these individuals. Furthermore, social projects and institutions that provide diaconal services and thereby promote charitable service to others also benefit.
