About the funder
The StadtStiftung Quakenbrück – Citizens for Their City is a non-profit community foundation dedicated to promoting social and cultural concerns in the Quakenbrück region and the entire Artland area. It sees itself as a community institution by citizens for citizens and supports projects that go beyond the usual municipal responsibilities. Under the guiding principle "Help for Self-Help," it promotes initiatives in the interest of the region and its residents and serves as a model through the exercise of civic responsibility.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to strengthen the sense of community in Quakenbrück and the Artland region by supporting nonprofit projects in the fields of youth and family, education and upbringing, arts and culture, as well as charitable institutions. We are committed to exemplary projects with model character that are innovative, sustainable, and feature a high level of volunteer involvement.
Target groups
Non-profit associations, foundations, and initiatives based in the Artland collective municipality are supported, provided they carry out projects in the areas of youth & family, education & upbringing, arts & culture, or charitable institutions. Also targeted are cooperations, scholarship applications for the training of young people, as well as volunteer projects with a clear connection to the city of Quakenbrück and the Artland.
